Weekly Meal Prep

In my opinion there is nothing better than having a stocked fridge ready to take on the week. Rather than a full meal prep situation, I like to prep a few key ingredients to set me up for success. Thursday me often doesn't want what Sunday me has planned, so this allows me to mix and match based on what I'm feeling. 

I like to start every week with the below items ready to roll in my fridge/panty: 

  • a cooked protein 

  • a cooked grain 

  • a sauce or dressing 

  • overnight oats or baked oats 

  • prepped veggies to snack on 

  • prepped/washed fruit to grab

  • homemade granola, granola bars or oat bites 

From there, I'll grab ingredients for a few dinners that sound good and decide what to eat every day.
